Once the ocean voyaging canoe Hokule’a reaches New York City next week, it will find special messages and Malama Honua projects from student following the worldwide journey of the canoe.  Hawaii state superintendent Kathryn Matayoshi will be bringing the student package with her when she arrives in tig “Big Apple” on Wednesday.
